Vintage American Ribbonwork - Yellow Floral Applique Embellishment

Here's a piece of vintage mid century American ribbonwork from an old hanky holder. A French Ombre Yellow ribbon rose sits upon a piece of vintage organza. The leaves are a mint green vintage satin while the dark green cord is embellishment. Size is 2-1/2" wide (cord to cord) x 1-1/2" high. Entirely hand sewn, to attach to your favorite piece, either sew on or add a pin to the back - this way, the piece can be detached before your item is cleaned. The ribbon bouquet is quite secure and is in no danger of falling apart.

Uses? A dolls hat or dress, a blazer lapel, a dress, a lampshade .... the projects are endless. So hard to find, a true vintage piece of French ribbon artistry. (Heart display pad is NOT included.)
