Unused Antique Victorian Greeting Card with Catherine Klein Florals
Unused Antique Victorian Greeting Card with Catherine Klein Florals
Dating to the late 1890s or so, here's an unused greeting card that might serve for any occasion. The front cover depicts a vase of daffodils while the back cover displays a bouquet of daisies and star flowers - both images were painted by the German watercolorist, Catherine Klein. Yes, both sides are unsigned but the artwork is definitely hers. Open the front cover to reveal a small printed poem - Love's Token. No personalization. Light scuffing - light browning due to old age on the covers - the inside is pristine. High color both back and front. Size is 2-3/4" x 4" approx when closed.
Too cute! Use as it was meant to be used or use the graphics in other projects.
