Handcrafted Victorian Revival Chenille Ornament | FOR THE NEW ARRIVAL
Handcrafted Victorian Revival Chenille Ornament | FOR THE NEW ARRIVAL
For Spring, here's a chenille ornament I made. In a Victorian Revival manner, a baby girl in a blue & white bonnet sits on a sparkly aquamarine egg and holds a sign that reads FOR THE NEW ARRIVAL. With a small spray of spring flowers to one side, the decoration has a silver cord at the top so that the piece can be hung anywhere you want (actually, I think the piece sure would look cute on or in an Easter Basket)! Measures 4" high x 1-3/4" wide and is very lightweight - would work well on a feather tree!
The chenille used in the making is Vintage (1970s) and the face of the girl is a reproduction of a Victorian die cut in my collection (no copyright infringement).
