Chenille Christmas Ornament - Japan Clay Face Santa Claus Carrying Garland

Crafted by me using vintage materials may I offer this One of a Kind creation! Starting with a C.1950 Japan Clay Face of Santa Claus, I crafted a body, boots and hat of vintage chenille and then placed him on a circular lid covered with vintage paper and foiled stars; the reverse of the lid reads Merry Christmas.  Santa carries a C.1950 bottlebrush garland dotted with C.1950 Japan mercury glass beads.  Santa's colors are a little off the norm but there is the requisite red and green coloring.  Height is about 4-3/4"; width is 2". Very lightweight though a bit big - perfect for a regular Christmas tree as well as a feather. Silver thread at the back for hanging.
