Art Deco German Mechanical Valentine - Lady Golfer Playing for Your Heart

Art Deco German Mechanical Valentine - Lady Golfer Playing for Your Heart

With high color to the chromolithograph image, here's an Art Deco era (c.1930 or so) mechanical Valentines Day card. Depicting a young lady playing gold (with her caddy standing in the background), the body of the lady is supposed to move left and right, however, the center pin is tightened too much so if you want her to move, you will have to loosen it just a smidge. The sentiment reads VALENTINE, I AM PLAYING FOR YOUR HEART. To make the card stand on its own, just fold back the bottom tabs. The card has been used as you can see by the pencil markings to the back. Made in Germany (marked on front). Terrific quality image and manufacture. Size is 4-1/2" high x 3". Would look terrific framed!
