Revival French Ribbonwork Rose - Periwinkle Blue Silk and Ombre Ribbon

Made with vintage materials gleaned from French postcards, may I offer this entirely hand sewn (no glue involved) Art Deco French Revival ribbon rose - ribbon work embellishment - decoration - applique.  The center flower is vintage silk in a periwinkle blue coloring while the leaves are green ombre; the back ribbon bow is blue ombre satin.  Size is 2-1/2" x 1-1/8" approx.  To apply to a project simply sew or glue on.  If you place on a piece of clothing that needs washing, the piece will need to be removed before doing so - silk does not take well to water.
