Velvet & Celluloid Pin Cushion with Antique French Ribbonwork Trim

Dating to the 1920s/1930s or so, here's a pin cushion featuring a celluloid base, blue velvet cushion and a length of French rococo ribbon sealing the edge where the cushion and plastic meet. The velvet has a lot of the nap missing and perhaps a new piece of velvet is in order but as it is, the piece is a wonderful bit of Art Deco vanity. Height is about 1-3/4"; width is about 3". Very nice condition with just some light marks to the celluloid - I did not try cleaning before photo'ing. A really pretty piece to display!
