Antique Victorian Paper Box - Basket of Roses, Lily of the Valley & Doves

Dating to the late 1890s or so, here's a paper jewelry box featuring an Antique Victorian die cut over a silver floral paper top. The die cut i very colorful and features a basket full of roses and lily of the valley; set at the center are a pair of white doves with pink ribbon. Lift the lid to reveal some cotton batting upon which to place a treasure. Box measures 3-11/16" x 3-3/16"; depth is 1-1/4". The box is well worn on the edges but the overall look of the piece is wonderful. Use as it was meant or group in collection to display.
