Antique French Celluloid Table Top Icon - Sacred Heart of Mary

From France and daring to the early 1900s, may I offer this religious table top icon that would have been presented to a young child on his Birth or Christening. With blue bows to the top, the design is very soft, very mute with pastel tones. Front measures 4-1/2" x 3" approx. The back easel is a simple piece of metal - I doubt this piece cost more than a few francs at the time it was made. Very nice condition, very clean with a touch of wear to each of the corners - I think the faux pas happened when the celluloid was folded to the metal, just a natural happenstance in the making. Just too cute!
