Antique Art Deco 14K Gold Diamond Zircon/Sapphire Lavaliere Pendant
Antique Art Deco 14K Gold Diamond Zircon/Sapphire Lavaliere Pendant
Dating anywhere from the early 1900s to late 1920s, here's a 14K White Gold (hallmarked on reverse as pictured) filigree lavaliere pendant featuring 2 faceted round diamonds (tested) and 2 princess cut blue zircons or sapphires (tests between zircon and sapphire). Measuring 1-7/8" long from top of bale to bottom diamond drop, width is 7/16". Weight is 1.7 grams. The diamonds measure 2mm approx each (3 points) while the sapphires measure 2mm x 2mm (4 points) each; total gemstone weight is .14CT approx. Makers mark is an "eye-shaped" C with 14 written on the inside - the K is a bit further away from the mark. Looks like the maker might be C.S. Carter of Indianapolis, Ind. Absolutely beautiful with no problems I can spot. I'm sorry my photos do not do this piece justice!
