Victorian Revival Mixed Media Angel Christmas Ornament | Red Plaid & Holly

Starting with a chenille base, I added layers and layers of gauze, ribbon and cording to make up the dress; the face is a copy of a Victorian die cut I have in my collection. With touches of green holly and a small banner made of vintage Japanese mercury glass balls and a modern day MERRY CHRISTMAS sign, what you see is what you get - an Angel for the holiday home!

My ornament is about 7" high x 4-1/2" wide and is very lightweight - she would work well on a regular Christmas tree or a Feather tree.  There is a gold cord suspended from the back of her head so that she can be hung.  Or, if you don't want to use her for a Christmas ornament at first, she would work well as a package tie to a gift - think TWO gifts in ONE!
