Upcycled Made in Japan Christmas Ornament - Angel Carrying Tree

Needing a bit of work to make it presentable once more, here's a vintage 1960s Made in Japan red Christmas angel ornament.  For the most part, the ornament was in good condition but I had to apply some substitutes for the original pieces - a cardboard base, vintage silver Dresden paper wings, a vintage foil halo and a vintage bottle brush Christmas tree.  Using vintage materials to restore/repair keeps the look of "vintage" intact!  

This is a tabletop or mantel ornament, there is no cording  The head is made of spun cotton and the hair is silver mica glass; I added a small silver sign that reads Merry Christmas.  Height is 2-1/4" x 1-3/4" wide at the base.   A nice piece ready to be displayed once more.
