Upcycled Made in Japan Angel Ornament - Angel Carrying Christmas Tree

Starting with a vintage 1960s Made in Japan Christmas ornament designed as an angel, a few items were needed to make it displayable once more.  The poor girl had no wings, no arms and nothing to hold.  So what did I do?  Well, I added new arms, a pair of gold Dresden paper wings, a Christmas tree and a Santa Claus gift sticker.  The result is what you see.  

The body is made of light cardstock covered in paint and mica glass.  The head is spun cotton, hair is brown mica glass and a small chenille round pops up from the top; it is at this point where you add a metal hanger to place on a Christmas Tree. Height is 2-1/2" high x 1-3/8" wide at the base.  Stands on its own and is marked JAPAN on the underside.  Just adorable and only ONE!
