Upcycled Celluloid Easel Picture Frame | Insert Your Own Picture
From my own hands may I offer this ONE OF A KIND upcycled celluloid picture frame from the 1930s. The frame is an easel style with an oval opening at the center for adding a picture or photo. The image currently showing in the oval is that of a young lady in First Communion garb - you can leave it in or take it out and replace with your own photo. There is no glass and the image slides in/out from the right side. Height is 6" - width at the widest part is 3-3/4". Image opening is 3" x 1-5/8".
Decorative embellishments to the frame include cream rayon ribbon, pearls and glitter. At the top, I added a reproduction Victorian die cut of an angel.
Interesting celluloid items are so hard to find and this lovely frame is no exception!
