Revival French Ribbonwork Spray - Dress Hat Hanky Holder Applique

Needing only a few stitches to make ready for use, here's a mid-century piece of ribbonwork.  Found on an old hanky holder, the center trio of florals are pink, french blue and ice blue silk.  The back leaves are French ombre that appear to be cotton.  Size is 2-3/8" x 1-1/8".  Entirely handsewn.  Can be glued, sewn or pinned to a project but the piece should be removed before cleaning as silk can only be dry cleaned.  

Uses?  A doll's hat, an embellishment on a piece of lingerie or dolls clothing.  Make a small pin or necklace.  Add to a lampshade.  The possibilities are endless.
