Revival French Ribbonwork Applique - Pink Satin Ribbon Rose

Revival French ribbonwork embellishment.  A pink satin flower holds glass seed beads at the center.  Green ombre ribbon loops act as leaves and a bit of pink silk adds a touch of contrast to the applique.  Size is 2" long x 3/4" high approx.  Entirely handsewn.  Just sew or glue to whatever project you have going.  Since silk can not be washed, it is best to remove the piece from your item before cleaning.

Uses?  A doll's hat, an embellishment on a piece of lingerie or dolls clothing.  Make a small pin or necklace.  Add to a lampshade.  The possibilities of use are endless.
