Revival French Ribbonwork Applique - Mauve Satin Rose with Ombre Leaves

Here's a Revival piece of vintage French Ribbonwork consisting of a mauve satin rose and embellished with a pair of vintage French Ombre wired ribbon leaves and some cream colored American made rat tail / rattail cording.  Entirely hand sewn on crinoline.  Size is 1-3/4" wide/high - that's the floral only.  The cording extends a further 1-1/2" in length. All parts of this piece are washable but I would do so with care.

Uses?  A doll's hat, an embellishment on a piece of lingerie or dolls clothing.  Make a small pin or necklace.  Add to a lampshade.  The possibilities of use are endless.
