Repurposed Antique French Pharmacy Pill Box | Santa Claus - MERRY CHRISTMAS

Bought by me in Paris about 35 years ago, may I offer this slightly repurposed pharmacy box - a pill box to be more precise. The top of the box no longer bears the prescription but rather instead the image of Santa Claus in golden tones. The top of the lid reads MERRY CHRISTMAS. No sentiment on the inside. The side color bands of the box are dark blue. Condition is very nice for its age. The piece has the patina of being old but there are no tears, rips, stains, etc. Size is 1-1/4" across with a depth of 9/16". Ready to be used once more but perhaps now as a small trinket box!
