Mixed Media Ornament | May the New Year Bring Happiness & Peace

Made of mixed materials both vintage and new, here's a holiday ornament made for NEW YEAR'S DAY.  The pale green glitter frame displays an Antique Victorian trade card section that proclaims MAY THE NEW YEAR BRING YOU HAPPINESS AND PEACE.  A touch of the "Japanaise" (which the Victorian considered all the rage in the late 1890s due to Gilbert & Sullivan's THE MIKADO), the card also features a paper butterfly at the upper left corner.  The reverse of the ornament features a repro photographer's label.  Not including the cream rayon ribbon hanger, the ornament measures 3-3/4" high x 2-1/8".  Lightweight enough for a feather tree or attach to a gift package as an added "gift".  ONE OF A KIND!
