Italian Tole Handpainted Wood Box with Lots of Florals

Dating to the 1930s or so, may I offer this Italian Tole trinket box.  The box measures 4-1/4" high x 6-1/2" long; width is 4". Made of wood and covered in gesso, there is a handpainted floral decoration in colors of mustard yellow with a pale blue trim; the florals include roses, chrysanthemums and more, with leaves of olive green, this box sits on 4 legs, has a curvy appearance and is fully lined in paper on the inside. With all things old, and the delicate nature of gesso, the piece not only has a patina to the varnish but a bit of chippiness adding to the shabby chic-ness look; as you can see in the pics, there is one chip front and center on the edge. Made in Italy is incised on the bottom. Like a small work of art, this is a piece to be displayed with pride in the house. (And check out the other pieces (last photo) I have in my shop!)
