French Art Deco Celluloid Easel Print of Girl at First Communion
French Art Deco Celluloid Easel Print of Girl at First Communion
From France and dating to the Art Deco period (C.1920/1930), may I offer this tabletop celluloid icon depicting a young girl at her First Communion. Green back with an easel; there is also a ring to hang from a wall. Light surface marks that can't be seen with the naked eye. No stains, tears, rips, repairs to the celluloid image (the Image is a lot crisper in person - blame my camera for making the image "soft"). Size is 3-1/2" x 5".
This is the type of religious image that isn't overly "Catholic", it's just a soft, pastel, image of a "Little Bride" with Easter Lilies on her side. So lovely and a very hard image to find these days. Perfect to gift even in this day and age!
