Antique French Ribbonwork - Pink/Blue/Cream Floral Applique with Beads

From an old coverlet I found and needing only a few more blossoms to make the piece a little more full, may I offer this 1920s' Art Deco French Ribbonwork applique. Featuring 3 ribbon roses - one of blue ombre cotton, one of cream silk and one of pink ombre rayon, the trio of blooms are topped off with a lime green ombre loopy leaf.  The blue floral center sports a few glass seed beads.   1-1/4" x 1" approx.  Entirely hand sewn with a crinoline backing.

Uses?  Well, anything you can think of - lingerie, a doll's hat or costume, a sachet - just about anything.  To attach to your favorite piece, either sew on or add a pin to the back - this way, the piece can be detached before your item is cleaned (silk does not do well with water).
