Antique Victorian Jewelry Box - Lady at Her Toilette
Antique Victorian Jewelry Box - Lady at Her Toilette
Dating to the late 1890s or so, here's a paper jewelry box - rectangular shaped, that looks as if it might have held a flask of perfume or some such small trinket, perhaps even a mini doll! Â Featuring an Antique Victorian die cut to the top of a young lady at her toilette, the box measures 4" x 2" and has a depth of 1-1/16". Â Condition is very nice with the usual old age marks that are usually found on antique paper. Â The inside bottom of the box displayed a very large crayon mark so I covered it with a small bit of "vintage" looking paper. Â A beautifully sized box that would display well with others of its kind. Â
