Upcycled Victorian Celluloid Painted Pansies Heart Ornament - Dinna Forget

Starting with a celluloid section from an old Antique Victorian greeting card, I removed the heart shaped center piece and applied it to a piece of silvery mauve jersey.  Adding a bit of silvery mauve tinsel yarn as well as a blank white card (for personalization), the heart can now be gifted to a friend.  The front of the heart reads DINNA FORGET - that's the silvery colored glitter you see to the top left and lower bottom right.  A pair of hands shake at the center and to the right is an actual handpainted pansy.  Altogether, you have one fabulous ONE OF A KIND decoration.  Size of the heart only is 5" x 5".  Very lightweight and I think, quite lovely in its appearance.  Who said you can't marry old and new to make something better?
