Antique French Ribbonwork Floral Applique - Yellow Organza with Beads

Needing only a few stitches to bring back to life, here's an antique piece of french ribbonwork.  A yellow organza flower features seed beads at the center; a bit of floss embroidery peeks out from the underside.  Because of this, I actually think this applique might have adorned a lampshade at some time.  Length is 1-7/8"; width is 1" approx.  Entirely handsewn the piece can be applied to anything you can think of.  As to washing, I do not know how the floss would react to suds so best be careful when cleaning.
